Species Cymbasoma germanicum - Plate 1 of morphological figuresissued from : E. Suarez-Morales in Helgol. Mar. Res., 2006, 60. [p.173, Fig.1].
Female (from Helgoland, coll.): a, b, habitus (dorsal and lateral, respectively); c, ovigerous spine.

Species Cymbasoma germanicum - Plate 2 of morphological figuresissued from : E. Suarez-Morales in Helgol. Mar. Res., 2006, 60. [p.174, Fig.2].
Female: a, right A1 (showing some setal elements using setal nomenclature by Grygier & Ohtsuka, 1995); b, urosome (right lateral view showing lateral process arrowed); c, habitus (ventral); d, head (semi-dorsal view showing sensillae).

Species Cymbasoma germanicum - Plate 3 of morphological figuresissued from : E. Suarez-Morales in Helgol. Mar. Res., 2006, 60. [p.175, Fig.3].
Female: a, left P4 (anterior view); b, right P1 (anterior view; showing stout seta on 1st exopodal segment); c, right P2 (anterior view); d, proximal segments of exopod of P3, with basipodal segment; e, P5 (showing position and length of setae on outer lobe).

Species Cymbasoma germanicum - Plate 4 of morphological figuresissued from : E. Suarez-Morales in Helgol. Mar. Res., 2006, 60. [p.172].
Armarture of swimming legs P1 to P4. Roman numeral = spine: arabic numeral = seta.

Species Cymbasoma germanicum - Plate 5 of morphological figuresissued from : E. Suarez-Morales in Helgol. Mar. Res., 2006, 60. [p.176, Fig.4].
Female: a, urosome (left lateral view; showing ateral process arrowed); b, urosome and P5 (ventral view); c, P5 (lateral view); d, urosome (dorsal view showing notch on margins of anal somite); e, anterior end of cephalothorax showing nipple-like structures (ventral view).
Noat: The main distinguishing character of this species is the presence of the two knob-like poetero-lateral processes on the genital double-somite (no similar structure has been reported in any other monstrilloid og this genus).
