Female (from Supurina Cave, Vis Island, Central Adeiatic): A-B, habitus (dorsal and lateral, respectively); C, urosome (dorsal). Nota: Body cyclopiform. Nauplius eye absent. Head and 1st pedigerous somite separate. Rostrum well developed and rounded in dorsal view. Proportional lengths of prosome segments 47:17:14:13:9 = 100. Prosome/Urosome (including caudal rami) ratio = 1.5:1. Urosome 5-segmented. Proportional lengths of urosomites and caudal rami 17:51:14:12:7 = 100; somites with hyaline frill along posterior margins. Genital double-somite 1.3 times longer than wide; genital area symmetrical, located peoximo-ventrally, with a single small copulatory pore, seminal receptacles paired, vestigial P6 armed with outer plumose seta and short inner seta. Caudal rami symmetrical, about asz long as wide; each ramus with 4 terminal setae.

issued from : F. Krsinic in Mar. Biol. Res., 2008, 4. [p.307, Fig.2]. Female: A-B, genital double-somite (ventral and lateral, respectively); C-D, A1. Nota: A1 21-segmented, reacing almost to end of cephalosome, with outer margin of 1st segment showing bulb-shaped process reaching to segment 7; segments 2-6, 8 and 9 very short.

issued from : F. Krsinic in Mar. Biol. Res., 2008, 4. [p.308, Fig.3]. Female: A, A2; B, Md (mandibular palp); C, Md (gnathobase); D, Mx1; E, Mx2; F, Mxp. Nota: A2 biramous, with endopod (longer than exopod), 2-segmented, distal segment with 3 transverse rows of setules. Mandibular palp with endopod 2-segmented, exopod 5-segmented; gnathobase cutting edge with isolated unicuspid tooth, 9 heterogeneous teeth and 2 distal spines. Mx1 praecoxal arthrite bearing 8 stout spines, with 4 elements on proximal part and 2 setae on posterior surface. Coxal epipodite armed with 8 setae and coxal endite with 2 spines and 3 setae; proximal basal endite with 3 setae and 1 spine, distal basal endite with 4, basal exite unarmed; exopod bearing 9 setae; endopod 3-segmented, with setal formula 3, 2, 6. P5 symmetrical, uniramous, 4-segmented; coxa unarmed; basis with outer seta on submarginal surface; exopod 2-segmented, distal segment longer than proximal, with 1 long distal spine, 1 outer margin and hook-like spine at inner angle, outer spine curving toward distal spine. Mx2 6-segmented; praecoxal endites with 6 and 3 setae, respectively; coxal enites each with 3 setae; allobasis with proximal endite powerfully developed with 5 setae proximally and 3 setae distally; endopod 3-segmented, with setal formula 2, 2, 4. Mxp 8-segmented; praecoxal endite with 1 seta; coxal endites incorporated into segment setal formula 2, 4, 3; basis triangular with 3 setae in inner median position; endopod 6-segmented, armature formula 1, 2, 2, 2, 2+1, 5; outer lateral margin segments 2-5 with spinules.

issued from : F. Krsinic in Mar. Biol. Res., 2008, 4. [p.310, Fig.5]. Male: A, habitus (dorsal); B, urosome (dorsal); C, genital somite (ventral); D, endopod of P2; E, P5. Nota: Prosome/Urosome ratio = 2.0:1. Urosome 6-segmented; proportional lengths of urosomites 12:33:20:16:11:8 = 100. Genital somite symmetrical, wider than long, not expanded ventrally, armature consisting of 3 equal setae, spermatophores reniform. Cephalosome and pedigerous somites, rostrum and caudal rami similar to those of female. A1 24-segmented, with geniculations. A2, mouthparts and P1-4 identical to those of female, except for armature on first two segments of endopod of P2 (where setae strongly developed, curved).
