Female (from San Diego Region): 18, habitus (lateral).
Nota: Rostrum very long and heavy. Cephalothorax densely covered with fine spines; 5-segmented; the head is a little longer than the rest of the cephalothorax. Urosome is between one-fourth and one-fifth as long as the cephalothorax. A1 reach only the posterior border of the head.

Female: 44, last thoracic segment and urosome.
Nota: The last thoracic segment shows a peculiar indentation or bay in the posterior border. Genital segment about as long as the 2nd and 3rd together, the 2nd half as long as the 3rd
