For Fosshagen (1967, p.58) this form agrees well with P. inornata except: total length greater than that of P. inornata; the posterior margins of the urosomal segments are coarsely serrated, and the penultimate urosomal segment bears a more deeply cleft and irregular dorsal lappet.
Since the body size and the form of the urosome in the female Platycopia sp.A and the male Platycopia sp.B are so simillar to each other, it is possible that they belong to the same species. Because their occurrence at different localities, it seems better at the moment not to assign Platycopia sp.A and B to any species.
