Remarks
According to Goetze & Ohman (2010, p.2120) these genetic samples are probably cryptic species. The Lang's 'small' form of Subeucalanus subrassus may be present and relatively abundant in coastal waters of Southeast Asia, particularly in the South China Sea. Additional description of this species' distribution awaits morphological characterization of the distinct species.
