Species Pseudochirella vulgaris - Plate 1 of morphological figuresissued from : E.L. Markhaseva in Zoosyst. Rossica, 1997, 6 (1/2). [p.32, Figs.1-15].
Female (from 13°23.9'N, 102°35'W): 1, habitus (dorsal); 2, forehead (lateral); 3, posterior prosome and urosome (dorsal); 4, idem (left lateral); 5, posterior prosome corner and genitalsegment (right lateral); 6, A1; 7, A2; 8, Md (mandibular palp); 9, Md (cutting edge of gnathobase); 10, Mx1; 11, Mxp; 12, P1; 13, P2; 14, P3 (part.); 15, P4.

Nota : Prosome 4.2 times as long as urosome. Rostrum typical of the genus. Cephalosome and pediger 1 fused, 4th and 5th nearly completely separated. Genital segment slightly asymmetrical, with more pronounced undulation anteriorly on the left than on the right, of equal width throughout. A1exceeding body length by 3 segments. Mx1 : inner lobe 3 with 1 short, probably sensory appendage in addition to 4 setae ; endopod with only 10 setae (setae partly missing).

Distribution map of Pseudochirella vulgaris by geographical zones
Loc:
Pacif. tropical E (seamount: Volcano 7)
N: 1
Lg.:
(821) F: 7,3; {F: 7,30}.
Rem.: hyperbenthic (2147-2973 m).
For Markhaseva (1997, p.31) the species is well distinguished from other species of the genus by the shape of the genital segment, shape of the posterior corners of prosome (symmetrical, rounded, without spines), and by only 1 small distal seta present on exopodite 2 of A2.
