Remarks

For Suarez-Morales & al; (2017, p.1810), because of the very small, inconspicuous female P5 inner seta, this species can be confused with other species bearing only 2 long setae on the P5 outer lobe; this is a condition found in only a few Cymbasoma (Suarez-Morales & McKinnon, 2016).
