Ref.:
McKinnon & Kimmerer, 1985 (p.86, figs.F,M); Othman & Greenwood, 1993 (p. 86)
Species Paramisophria variabilis - Plate 1 of morphological figuresissued from : A.D. McKinnon & W.J. Kimmerer in Rec. Austr. Mus., 1985, 37 (2). [p.87, Fig.1].
Female (from 25°58'S, 114°03'E): a-b, habitus (dorsal and lateral, respectively); c, rostrum; d, A2; f, Md (citting edge); g, Mx1; h, proximal endite of Mx1.
Nota: Posterodorsal margins of 2nd and 3rd pedigers each produced into 2 lobes, symmetrical about the mid-line. Posterior margin of prosome produced into sharp dorsal projection on each side. Rostrum with 2 subequal, ventrally- directed filaments. Endopod of A2 2-segmented, exopod 3-segmented. Md blade of 4 large teeth, the outermost the largest, 2 patches of denticles proximal to group of 3 teeth. Endopod of Mx1 with 2 terminal setae, exopod with 3 terminal setae

Male: i, habitus (dorsal); j, left A1 (segments 15-18).
Nota: A1 21-segmented, left with weakly geniculate terminal segment. A2, mouthparts and swimming legs resembling those of female.

Species Paramisophria variabilis - Plate 2 of morphological figuresissued from : A.D. McKinnon & W.J. Kimmerer in Rec. Austr. Mus., 1985, 37 (2). [p.88, Fig.2].
Female: a, abnormal P2 exopodite (paratype); b, P5 (holotype); c, basal segments of P5 (paratype); d, distal margin of right P5 (paratype).

Male: e, P5 (allotype); f, right P5 (paratype); g, h, basis and endopods of paratypes; i, right P5 (paratype).

Species Paramisophria variabilis - Plate 3 of morphological figuresissued from : A.D. McKinnon & W.J. Kimmerer in Rec. Austr. Mus., 1985, 37 (2). [p.86].
Female: Swimming legs armature formula (outer margin first; Roman numerals spines, Arabic numerals setae).
