Nota: The urosome segments and furca are in the proportional lengths as 40:10:17:33 = 100. Prosome and urosome are in the proportional lengths as 77:23.
The Izu region's specimen differs from the description of Sewell (1932, 1947) in number of setae on the exopod of Mx1

Rem.: Meso-bathypelagic. 300-500 m in Pillai & al., 2011. Known to occur at depths less than 850 m and greater than 1000 m (Matthews, 1972).First occurrence in Indonesian waters by Matsuura & al. (2010).
