Female (from Indian Ocean): 196, forehead (lateral); 197, 5th thoracic segment and genital segment (lateral right side); 198, Md (mandible plap); 199, Md (biting of the(mandible blade); 200, Mx1. Nota: Head and 1st thoracic segment separate, 4th and 5th fused.Posterior lateral corner of 5th thoracic segment rounded, set off by a slight indentation. Rostral filaments very slender. A1 exceeds end of furca. Mandible blade obliquely cut bearing 2 strong double-teeth and 2 slender, shorter teeth. Endopod of mandible palpus rudimentary. Mx1: 1st inner lobe with 6 rather slender and elongate spines, 2nd inner lobe with 1 seta, 3rd inner lobe lacking; fused 2nd basal segment and endopod with 1 seta; exopod with 2 strong and one weak seta; external lobe with 3 setae. Number of setae on lobes 1-6 of Mx2: 0, 1, 2, 2, 2, 1, respectively. Number of setae on lobes 1-5 of Mxp: 1, 2, 3, 2, 2, respectively. Endopods and exopods of P1 to P5 3-segmented.
