Distribution map of Euaugaptilus quaesitus by geographical zones
|
| | | | | | Loc: | | | NW Indian (10°04'N, 64°59'E) | | | N: | 1 | | | Lg.: | | | (67) F: 1,4; {F: 1,40} | | | Rem.: | bathy-abyssopelagic. Recorded at a depth between 275 and 2250 m (Matthews, 1972). For Grice & Hulsemann (1967, p.34) this species resembles E. fundatus and close to E. hecticus. E. quaesitus differs from E. humilis in its shorter A1 and the structure of Md and Mx1.
