Female (from Indonesia-Malaysia): 1, habitus (dorsal); 2, forehead (lateral); 3, last yjoracic and genital segments (left side); 4, rostrum; 5, A1; 6, Md (biting edge).

Male: 7, urosome (dorsal); 8, rostrum; 9, left A1; 10, P5.

Rem.: A. Scott (1909, p.140) points out that T. Scott has observed a male at the Faroe Islands, identical to the described species.
According to Matthews (1972, p.44) the proposed synonymy of E validus with Euaugaptilus magnus must therefore remain in doubt.
