Distribution map of Centropages halinus by geographical zones
|
| | | | | | Loc: | | | W Australia (Shark Bay) | | | N: | 1 (Indian.: 1) | | | Lg.: | | | (355) F: 1,03; 0,96; M: 1,12-1,03; {F: 0,96-1,03; M: 1,03-1,12} | | | Rem.: | In hypersaline environment. For McKinnon & Kimmerer (1988, p.173) this species appears closely related to C. orsinii and occurs together in the Shark Bay region. C. halinus appears to be limited to the hypersaline inner regions of the bay (salinities : 39.0 to 44.4 ppt). For El-Sherbiny & Al-Aidaroos, (2015, p.407) this species falls within the orsinni species-group. | | | Last update : 13/10/2015 | |
