issued from : R.B.S. Sewell in Rec. Indian Mus., (1918) 1919, XYI. [Pl.X, Figs.2-3, 6]. Female (from Chilka Lake): 2, Mx1; 3, Mx2; 6, P5. Nota: Head and 1st thoracic segment separate, 4th and 5th fused. Posterior thoracic margin rounded and unarmed. Rostrum absent. Proportional lengths of urosomites and furca 39 : 31 : 8 : 22 = 100.The 1st abdominal segment bears a slight rounded prominence posteriorly near the right border. Caudal rami symmetrical. A1 21-segmented (segments 2-4, 8-9, 12-13 fused), there are oblique rows of hairs on segments 7 to 18. Only 2 spines on the margin of the 1st segment of Mxp. P5: each basal segment carries 1 marginal seta; the exopod is long and curved, inner margin serrated ; endopod short being only ¼ the length of the exopod, and it bears 2 or 3 teeth distally on its outer margin.

ssued from : R.B.S. Sewell in Rec. Indian Mus., (1918) 1919, XYI. [Pl.IX, Fig.8]. Male: 8, P5. Nota: Proportional length of cephalothorax and abdomen 65:35 = 100. Proportional lengths of urosomites and furca 11:21:18:9:5:36 = 100. Caudal rami not quite symmetrical, the right one being slightly longer. Left A1 as in the female; Right A1 modified to form a grasping organ. On the right P5 the basal segment is produced in a double flat process, the outer division being sharply pointed and the inner one rounded and wing-like; Each leg consists of 3 exopodal segments.
