Nota: Head and 1st thoracic segment separate, 4th and 5th separate.
A1 23-segmented (segments 8 and 9, 24 and 25, fused) reaching to end of furca.
A2 with exopod longer than endopod.
Mx2 with 5 lobes each bearing setae.

Rem.: bathypelagic.For Grice & Hulsemann (1965, p.227) this new genus appears to be related to Farrania Sars, 1920, from which it differs by the segmentations of the swimming legs (especially the single segmented exopod and endopod of the first pair of legs and the presence of 2 external spines on the 3rd exopodal segments of the P2 and P3.
