Nota: Head and 1st thoracic segment incompletely separate. Anal segment longer than preceding segment and furca. Rostrum absent. Left A1 geniculate. Endopod of A2 2/3 the length of exopod. Edge of mandible blade with spine-like hairs and 3 spiniform teeth. Mx1 internal lobe with 1 seta, exopod with 4 setae, 2nd basal segment with 1 seta. Mx2 and Mxp with reduced number of setae. P5 biramous, exopods 3 segmented; endopod of right leg 3-segmented, left leg 2-segmented.
The present male differs from
D.longus and
D. minutus in the absence of a rostrum and in the segmentation of the endopods of P1 and P2.
