Heterorhabdus quadrilobus female: 1 - See key to species groups of Heterorhabdus: ''spinifrons'' Group (p.90, 91). 2 - Forehead with a spiniform process. 3 - Anterior wall of genital proninence with a pair of rounded lobes (Fig.65-a, e). 4 - Genital prominence short of reaching posterior end of somite (Fig.65-a). Endopod of Mx1 with 3 setae. 5 - Genital prominence with posterior lobes (Fig.65-c).

Heterorhabdus quadrilobus male: 1 - See key to species groups of Heterorhabdus: ''spinifrons'' Group. 2 - Forehead with a spiniform process. 3 - In right P5, basal inner lobe relatively long and somewhat fingerlike, medial projection of 2nd exopodal segment (Fig.66-b, e) with small terminal spiniform process and relatively well developed distal lobe. 4 - Basal inner lobe of right P5 (Fig.66-b) almost as long as segment, pointing distomediad. Endopod of Mx1 with 3 seta. 5 - 2nd exopodal segment of left P5 (Fig.66-d) with outer spine shorter than conical process. Terminal spine of 3rd exopodal segment of right P5 about 1/3 length of segment (Fig.66-b). 6 - Lateral margin of 3rd exopodal segment of right P5 (Fig.66-e) only moderately elbowed elbowed about 1/5 length of segment from distal end. 7 - Basal inner lobe of right P5 (Fig.66-c) with a deep notch on lateral margin; in 3rd exopodal segment of right P5 (Fig.66-e), lateral margin moderaztely elbowed about 1/5 length of segment from distal end, and distal lobe elongate (Fig.66-f). In 2nd exopodal segment of left P5 (Fig.66-d), outer spine distinctly shorter than conical process.
