Female (from Kaikoura, New Zealand): 7, habitus (dorsal); 8, P1; 9, P2; 10, P3. Scale bars: 1 mm (7); 0.1 mm (8, 9, 10). Nota: Distinctive features are the genital segment, whose widest part, viewed dorsally, is anterior, and the endopod of P1, which has no outer swollen part furnished with bristles while the long seta on the 2nd basipod segment is quite straight. Another distinct characteristic is the presence of glandular pores on the last exopod segments of P2, P3 and P4. A1reaches approximately to the posterior border of the genital segment although usually held at right angles to the body.
