Species M unidentified - Plate 1 of morphological figuresissued from : G.D. Grice & K. Hulsemann in Proc. U. S. natn. Mus., 1967, 122 (3583). [p.67, Figs.306-319].
Male (from 06°00'S, 65°10'E): 306-307, habitus (dorsal and lateral, respectively); 308, left A1; 309, distal segments of left A1 (enlarged); 310, A2; 311, Md (mandibular palp); 312, Md (masticatory edge); 313, Mx1; 314, Mx2; 315, Mxp; 316, P1 (endopod incomplete); 317, P3 (exopod and endopod incomplete); 318, left P5 with 1st segment of right P5; 319, right P5 without 1st segment.

Nota: Head and 1st thoracic segment separate, 4th and 5th fsegments fused. Abdomen 5-segmented; anal segment longer than preceding, equal in length to furca. Rostrum robust, broadly rounded at tip. Left A1 geniculate, numerous asesthetasks on proximal segments. Endopod of A2 about 2/3 the length of exopod. Endopod of Md about 2/3 the length of exopod; palpus devoid of setae; blade with 1 large and 2 small teeth, distal end covered with numerous small spines. Mx1 with 1 seta on 2nd inner lobe, 3 setae on 3rd inner lobe, 2 setae on 2nd basal segment, 9 setae on endopod, and 7 setae on exopod. Mx2 with 5 lobes bearing 4, 3, 3, 3, and 1 setae, respectively. P5 uniramous, each ramus 5-segmented; distal segment of left leg with 2 spinelike protrusions terminally..

Rem.: For Grice & Hulsemann (1967 p.41) in most respects the present male is similar to the males of the Disco species. However, the uniramous P5 of the present male apparently preclude its referral to the genus Disco. Until females are discovered, the authors will not attempt a family designation or generic description.
