Male (from Indian Ocean): 130, habitus (dorsal); 131, idem (lateral right side); 132, 5th thoracic segment and urosome (lateral right side); 133, P5.

Nota: Head and 1st thoracic segment fused, 4th and 5th fused. Posterior lateral corner of 5th thoracic segment with small protuberance. A1 reaches to end of 2nd abdominal segment. Segment 1 of left P1 with pubescent swelling.

The mean female size is 2.575 mm (n = 2), and the mean male size is 1.980 mm (n = 2). The size ratio (male : female) is about 0.77.
Rem.: Grice & Hulsemann (1967, p.28) ascribe the form (M) without certitude to M. boecki, differ slightly from M. discreta.
The females resemble Metridia lucens females.
