issued from : C.O. Esterly in Univ. Calif. Publs Zool., 1906, 3 (5). [Pl.13, Fig.79]. As Metridia princeps. Female: 79, P5. Nota: Genital segment longer than last two; anal segment half as long as middle one. Caudal ramus 5 or 6 times as long as broad. A1 reaching beyond end of caudal rami by about the last segment. P5 4-segmented, last segment with 3 apical bristles, all of which are plumose; the basal segment with a tuft of long hairs.
