Nota: Cephalothorax and abdomen in the proportional lengths 77 to 23.
Head and 1st thoracic segment fused, 4th and 5th thoracic segments fused.
Rostrum composed of 2 spines directing postero-ventrally.
Posterior thoracic margin narrowly rounded, furnished with a tuft of long hairs which direct backwardly.
Abdomen 4-segmented; segments and caudal rami in the proportional lengths 32 : 12 : 8 : 24 : 24 = 100.
Genital segment wider than long, with the proportion 19 to 16; the ventral surface produced below, receptacles small.; the lateral surface of the segment is furnished with 2 rows of spinules.
Caudal rami long, about 2.7 times as long as broad.
The swimming legs and P5 as described and figured by Sewell. There is no spinule on the outer margin of the exopodal 3rd segment of P2 to P4.
