Nota: The mouthpart appendages are very reduced as compared with those of the female. The mandible blade is without a chewing edge. In Mx1 the 1st and 2nd inner lobes are devoid of setae or spines.

Planche 5Bradyidius saanichi female: 1 - Rostrum with divergent rami. 2 - Points of last thoracic segment not reaching posterior border of genital segment. Exopodal segment 2 of A2 with 2 setae. Exopodal segment 1 of P1 with external spine not reaching the base of external spine of segment 2. 3 - Posterior corners of last thoracic segment nondiverging. Points of last thoracic segment not reaching posterior border of genital segment. 4 - Rostral rami rather strongly divergent (compare with B. similis), obtuse angle in their base.
