Carte de distribution de Bradyidius spinifer par zones géographiques
New Zealand (Kaikoura, SE North Island).

Type locality: 42°26'S, 173°52'E.
N: 4
(116) F: 2,5; (198) F: 2,74; M: 1,96: (898) F: 2,2-2,5; M: 2,2; {F: 2,20-2,74; M: 1,96-2,2}
Rem.: mesopelagic.
After Bradford-Grieve (2003, p.102) the samples currently reported on have extended the range of B. spinifer northwards along the continental slope of north-eastern New Zealand. Examined as complete specimens, B. spinifer and B. capax look similar, but may be distinguished.
