Labidocera wilsoni  Fleminger & Tan, 1966   (F,M)
Ref.:
Fleminger & Tan, 1966 (p.292, figs.F,M)
Espèce Labidocera wilsoni - Planche 1 de figures morphologiquesissued from : A. Fleminger in Bull. Mar. Sci., 1979, 29 (2). [p.184, Fig.14, f].
Male: f, P5 (posterior).

Espèce Labidocera wilsoni - Planche 2 de figures morphologiquesissued from : A. Fleminger & E. Tan in Crustaceana, 1966, 11. [p.293, Fig.1].
Female (from 24°54'N, 76°20.5'W): a-b, habitus (lateral and dorsal, respectively); c, right Md (mandibular edge); d, P5 (posterior); e, right P1 (anterior; setae omitted); f, posterior thoracic segment and urosome with spermatophore (right lateral); g, same (ventral).
Holotype: a and b.
Nota: Urosome 2-segmented.
Genital segment with 2 swellings on right side (dorsal view), anterior swelling usually smaller, but varying from a low boss to a prominent knob, almost as large as the more posterior knob; left side swollen, more or less convex in outline; genital pore ventral but weakly asymmetrical, more than half of the genital plate being to the left of the mid-sagittal plane.
P5 with endopod longer than exopod (as in L. mirabilis, but with apex of endopod asymmetrically forked, medial prong attenuated, lateral prong short; exopod usually with lateral denticle at about midlength.
Anal segment reduced but visible.
Caudal rami symmetrical.

Espèce Labidocera wilsoni - Planche 3 de figures morphologiquesissued from : A. Fleminger & E. Tan in Crustaceana, 1966, 11. [p.294, Fig.2].
Male: a-b, habitus (lateral and dorsal, respectively); c, rostrum (anterior view); d, right A1 (segments 17, 18, 19-21); e, right P4 (posterior, incomplete); f, P2 (posterior; setae omitted); g, P5 (posterior).
Allotypes: a and b.
Nota: Right A1 with segment 17 protruding anteriad in a single, prominent, spiniform process; segment 18 with a double row of denticles comprising the denticulated ridge, ridge extending 3/4 the length of the segment, proximal portion of ridge overlapping segment 17; segments 19-21 fused, with a double row of denticles, ridge weakly divided into a proximal and a distal portion, the latter not overlapping segment 22; segment 22 with a distal spur extending beyond segment 23 and reaching the middle of fusion segment 24-25.
Right P2 with exopodal segment 2 bearing a highly modified external spine; modified spine almost as long as exopodal segment 3; left leg P2 with unmodified external spines.
Right P4 with exopodal segment 1 bearing a modified spine, short but with distal portion flared somewhat like the distal end of a trumpet, apex with mouth-like depression that appears to connect via a duct to the segment.
Left P5 long, exopod 2-segmented, proximal segment more than twice the length of the distal segment and armed with spiniform seta originating near distal end and extending to mid-length of terminal segment; terminal segment with 3 short latero-distal setae, medial face hirsute and bearing an ovate lamelliform process and several small wart-like protuberances (in L. mirabilis left leg short, exopod more or less 1-segmented and lacking spines and setae); right P5 with long protopod, bearing the two-segmented cheliform exopod; chela rectangular in posterior view,; proximal segment with lateral margin facing opposing segment irregular and bearing 2 falciform processes, the distal process is lamelliform and posterior to the terminal segment, possibly reinforcing the position of the latter in closure; distal segment with 2 proximal setae and 1 distal seta.

Espèce Labidocera wilsoni - Planche 4 de figures morphologiquesissued from : A. Fleminger & E. Tan in Crustaceana, 1966, 11. [p.298, Fig.4].
Rostrum (frontal view): a (female; b (male).
