Planche 5 Chiridiella brooksi female: 1 - Mx2 with 5 endites. 2 - Mx2 strongly modified in comparison with typical; first-fifth endites of varying size; Setation is not typical, some number of setae on third-fifth endites transformed into pincers-like spines. 3 - Setae of third and fourth endites of Mx2 arranged like pincers. 4 - Exopod of P1 with 1 external spine. A1 longer than body.
Planche 6Chiridiella brooksi female ; 1 - 3rd and 4th lobes of Mx2 each with pincer arrangement. 2 - A1 longer than body. 3 - Mx2 short and stumpy. 4 - P1 exopod with 1 edge spine.
