| | | | | | Syn.: | Pontellopsis herdmani : Sewell, 1912 (part., p.375, pL. 24, fig.5) | | | Ref.: | | | Mori, 1937 (1964) (p.98, figs.F,M); Brodsky, 1962 c (p.147, figs.F); Tanaka, 1964 c (p.269, Rem.F,M); Chen & Zhang, 1965 (p.107, figs.F,M); Koga, 1968 (p.16, fig.: egg); Silas & Pillai, 1973 (1976) (p.778); Ohtsuka & Onbé, 1991 (p.214, figs.F); Chihara & Murano, 1997 (p.873, Pl.157,159: F,M); Mulyadi, 2002 (p.149, figs.M, Rem.); Suarez-Morales & Kozak, 2012 (p.1, key F,M: p.14, fig.F,M); Ohtsuka & al., 2015 (p.123, Table 2). | issued from: Q.-c Chen & S.-z. Zhang in Studia Marina Sinica, 1965, 7. [Pl.47, 1-4]. Female (from E China Sea): 1, P5 (posterior). Male: 2, habitus (dorsal); 3, right A1; 4, P5 (posterior).

issued from: Q.-c Chen & S.-z. Zhang in Studia Marina Sinica, 1965, 7. [Pl.46, 15-16]. Female: 15, habitus (dorsal); 16, idem (lateral right side).

issued from : S. Ohtsuka & T. Onbé in Mar. Biol., 1991, 111. [p.214, Fig.2, C]. Female (from Bungo Channel: Inland Sea of Japan): C, right A1 (S = seta with setules). Scale bar = 0.2 mm.

issued from : S. Ohtsuka & T. Onbé in Mar. Biol., 1991, 111. [p.217, Fig.4, B]. Female (from Bungo Channel: Inland Sea of Japan): B, Md (cutting edge). Scale bar = 0.010 mm.
|
issued from : S. Ohtsuka & R. Huys in Hydrobiologia, 2001, 453/454. [p.455, Fig.9]. Male (from Japan): A, ventral view of pediger 5 and urosome (P5 indicated by large arrow, putative cleaning organ indicated by small arrows); B, chelate structure of exopod of right P5 (hair-sensilla arrowed); C, terminal exopod segment of left P5 (posterior). Scale bars: 0.1 mm 'A); 0.05 mm (B); 0.001 mm (C).
|
issued from : S. Ohtsuka & R. Huys in Hydrobiologia, 2001, 453/454. [p.456, Fig.10, A-B]. Male (from Japan): A, urosome (right lateral), putative cleaning device on 2nd and 3rd urosomites arrowed; B, putatuve cleaning organ on 2nd and 3rd urosomites, hair-sensillum arrowed. Scale bars: 0.1 mm (A-B). Nota: These structure could serve as auxiliary devices, however, the copulatory behaviour must be directly observed in order to reveal their precise function. These putative cleaning devices are associated with mechanoreceptors such as peg- and hair-sensilla which suggests that grooming may also be important during mating.

issued from : T. Mori in The pelagic Copepoda from the neighbouring waters of Japan, 1937 (2nd edit., 1964). [Pl.47, Fig.1-6]. Female: 1, habitus (dorsal); 6, P5. Male: 2, habitus (dorsal); 3, P5; 4, left A1; 5, right A1.

issued from : Mulyadi in Treubia, 2002, 32. [p.150, Fig.55]. Male (from Java coast):: a, habitus (dorsal); b, metasomal somite 5 and urosome (dorsal); c, right A1; d, P5; e, distal segment of left P5. Nota: The present specimen is slightly different from Mori's specimen in the presence 1 seta on inner base of exopod segment 2 of right P5.
