A2 with exopod 1.5 times longer than endopod; exopod 7-segmented with 11 setae; endopod 2-segmented and compressed with last segment having distinct inner lobe bearing 9 setae.
Md with well-developed cutting blade bearing pointed teeth along most of its margin, except for 2 broad and distally serrated teeth on outer margin; Basis of palp unarmed; endopod 2-segmented about twice length of exopod, 1st segment with 1 inner seta, 2nd segment trnasformed into an elongated, flattened thin structure bearing 5 small setae along inner margin and 2 small distal ones.
Mx1 with slender praecoxal arthrite having 14 elements; coxal endite and basal endites with 3 and 4 setae respectively; exopod with 2 groups of setae, each with 5 setae; endopod 2-segmented, extremely elongated into flattened and thin structure bearing 3 groups of 4, 3 and 5 small setae, respectively, on inner margin.
mx2 compressed, with indistinctly segmented terminal part; 1st praecoxal endite with 4 (5 ?) setae.

Espèce Exumellina bucculenta - Planche 2 de figures morphologiquesissued from : A. Fosshagen & T.M. Iliffe in J. Marr. Syst., 1998, 15 [p.377, Fig.3].

Espèce Exumellina bucculenta - Planche 3 de figures morphologiquesissued from : R.-M. Barthélémy in These Doc. Univ. Provence (Aix-Marseille I), 1999 [Fig.15, G].
Female (from Norman's pond cave: Bahamas): G, external ventral view of genital double-somite.
go = genital operculum (note the bilobated lobe). Scale bar: 0.010 mm.
