Head and 1st thoracic segment fused, 4th and 5th separate.
A1 19-segmented (1st segment with a stellate group of spines on the dorsal surface, the first eight segments with large flattened sensory filaments), reaches to the hind edge of the 2nd abdominal segment ;
Terminal segment of Mxp with a group of spines.
3rd exopodite segment of P1 with a patch of fairly large syurface spines.
P5 reaches back to the hind edge of the 2nd abdominal segment.
Anal segment very short, telescoped into the 4th abdominal segment.
