Female (from mouth of Yangtse): 1, habitus (dorsal); 2, rostrum (lateral); 3, P1; 4, P2; 5, P3; 6, P4; 7, P5.

Male: 8, habitus (dorsal); 9, A1; 10, P5 and genital segment.

Nota Female: Caudal rami 6 times as long as broad.
P1 to P4 with exopods and endopods 3-segmented.
P5 2-segmented, basal segment fused with 5th thoracic segment, distal segment bearing 2 spines on outer border, a long seta at distal end and small spine at the distal portion of the inner border.

Nota Male: Grasping A1 14-segmented.
P5 similar to that of the female in general ap^pearance.
P6 bearing 2 setae of unequal lengths.

Rem.: Incomplete data.
According to Cordell & al., 2008 (p.753) the 1st records of this species in San Francisco estuary and Columbia River are 1993 for the former and 2003 for the latter.

Diagnosis after Boxshall & Halsey (2004, p.611):
P5 2-segmented, with 4 spines/setae on free exopodal segment.
