Oncaea brocha Heron, 1977 (F,M) | |
| | | | | | Ref.: | | | Heron, 1977 (p.60, figs.F,M); Malt, 1982 (p.190, figs.F, Rem.); Heron & al., 1984 (p.465); Heron & Frost, 2000 (p.1040, fig.F, tab.2, 3) | issued from : G.A. Heron in Antarct. Res. Ser. Washington, 1977, 26. [p.61, Fig.14, f-n]. Female (from SW Pacific-Antarctic area): f, habitus (lateral; scale bar: X); g-h, posterior of last prosomal segment and urosome (lateral and dorsal, respectively; scale bar: Y); i, A2 (scale bar: Y); j, labrum (scale bar: Z); k, right Md (scale bar: Z); l, right Mx1 (scale bar: Z); m, left Mx2 (scale bar: Z); n, left Mxp (scale bar: Y).
issued from : G.A. Heron in Antarct. Res. Ser. Washington, 1977, 26. [p.63, Fig.15, a-e]. Female: a-d, P1 to P4 (scale bar: Y); e, P5 (scale bar: Z).
issued from : G.A. Heron in Antarct. Res. Ser. Washington, 1977, 26. [p.63, Fig.15, f-h]. Male: f, urosome (dorsal; scale bar: Y); g, right Mxp (scale bar: Y); h, P5 (scale bar: Z).
issued from : G.A. Heron & B.W. Frost in Proc. Biol. Soc. Washington, 2000, 113 (4). [p.1021, Fig.1, J]. Female: P2-P4 endopod terminal ''spine set'' (combination of the lengths, shapes, and position of the three or two terminal spines on the endopods of swimming legs 2-4 , from left to right in figure, for different Oncaea' species). Nota: endopod of P3 with lateral spine extending beyond base of subterminal spine.
Issued from : S.J. Malt in Bull. Br. Mus. nat. Hist. (Zool), 1982, 42 (3). [p.204, Fig.10, g-k]. Female (from 20°N, 21°W): g, urosome (dorsal); h, A2; i, Mxp; j, P2; k, P3. Nota: A2 has an additional terminal spine not figured by Heron; this may have been lost from Heron's specimen or may represent geographical variation. Another minor difference observed was the length of the terminal spines of the 2nd and 3rd endopodites which are relatively longer in the present specimen. The refractive granules mentioned by Heron are absent from these specimens, but these may have been artefacts or may represent the positions of cuticular pores
