Nota: The south-west Pacific specimens have small chitinous thickenings on the posterior metasome, urosome, and basipod segment 1 of P4 (as noted by Vervoort, 1957). There is a tendancy for the proximal segments of P2-4 to be fused. The specimens have at least 5 brush-like setae on the endopod of Mx2.
