| | | | | | Ref.: | | | McKinnon, Corley & Duggan, 2011 (p.842, Descr.F, figs.F) | issued from : A.D. McKinnon, J. Corley & S. Duggan in Crustaceana, 2011, 84 (7). [p.843, Fig.6]. Female (from 14.05°, 121.85°E): a-b, habitus (dorsal and lateral, respectively); c, urosome (ventral); d, A1; e, A2. Nota: Prosome comprises cephalosome and 5 thoracic segments, 2.9 times as long as urosome. A1 24-segmented, extending to posterior border of urosomite 3. - Rostrum bifurcate, symmetrical, projecting anteriorly and visible in dorsal view. - Frontal organ comprising 2 large integumental organs at dorsal base of rostrum. - Posterior somite of prosome produced into acute points extending to mid-length of genital double-somite. Surface of cephalosome and thoracic somites covered with dome-shaped protuberances (about 2 µm in diameter). - Genital double-somite symmetrical, as long as wide. - Urosomites 1-3 naked. - Caudal rami 1.2 times as long as wide. Seta I absent; II short; III-VI long (V longest); VII ventral.

| | | | | | Loc: | | | Indian (NW Australia, Scott Reef) | | | N: | 1 | | | Lg.: | | | (1083) F: 1,97-2,13; {F: 1,97-2,13} | | | Rem.: | For McKinnon & al. (2011, p.846) this species is very similar in morphology to A. tumorosa, especially in lacking the external lobe on the endopod of P1, but differs in the form of the rostrum (directed anteriorly in A. browsei, but ventrally in A. tumorosa), in having shorter pointed processes of the prosome (which do not extend beyond the mid-length of the genital double-somite but beyond mid-length in A. tumorosa, and the mandible endopod segment 2 has 10 setae in A. browsei rather than 9 setae. | | | Dernière mise à jour : 22/10/2015 | |
