According to Mulyadi (2004, p.178) the present male most resembles B. inermis, but is distinguished from the latter by the absence of spine-rows on posterior exopodite 1 and 2 of P2-P4, the absence of spinules on metasomal segment 5, the smaller size than B. similis, and B. inermis, and having shorter rostral filaments; the first form, coxopodite 1 widest as in other species of the genus, in other form coxopodite 1 curved backwards.
