Triconia pararedacta  Wi, Böttger-Schnack & Soh, 2012   (F)
Ref.:
Wi & al., 2012 (p.851, Decr.F, figs.F, Rem.); Soh & al., 2013 (p.127, figs.F)
Espèce Triconia pararedacta - Planche 1 de figures morphologiquesIssued from : J.H. Wi, R. Böttger-Schnack & H.Y. Soh in J. Crustacean Biol., 2012, 32 (5). [p.854, Fig.7].
Female (from 32°00'N, 126°8'E): A-B, habitus (dorsal and lateral, respectively); C, urosome (dorsal); D, P6 (right side); E, P5 (left side, dorsal); F, caudal ramus (right side).

Nota: Proportional lengths of urosomites and caudal rami 11.8 : 50.0 : 8.8 : 5.9 : 11.7 : 11.8 = 100.
Genital double-somite with paired genital apertures located slightly anterior to midlevel of dorsal surface. Surface ornamented with 3 secretory pores posterior to genital apertures (single pore at mid -region and paired pores at posterior quarter).
Anal somite 1.6 times wider than long.
Caudal ramus twice as long as wide; inner margin without ornamentation.
P5 comprising outer basal ( = protopodal) seta and free exopod. Exopod 1.8 times as long as wide, inner exopodal seta 1.5 times as long as outer one and slightly longer than outer basal seta.
P6 represented by external operculum closing oo each genital aperture, armed with spine and small process at basal refion of spine (fig.7D).

Espèce Triconia pararedacta - Planche 2 de figures morphologiquesIssued from : J.H. Wi, R. Böttger-Schnack & H.Y. Soh in J. Crustacean Biol., 2012, 32 (5). [p.855, Fig.8].
Female: A, A1; B, A2; C, labrum (anterior); D, labrum (posterior); E, Md; F, 4th element (seta d) of Md; G, Mx1; H, Mx2; I, Mxp; J, egg sac.

Nota: A1 6-segmented, relatine lengths of segments (measured along posterior non-setiferous margin) 12.7 : 18.6 : 41.1 : 12.7 : 3.7 : 11.2.
Cephalosomal appendages (Labrum, Md, Mx1, Mx2, Mxp) almost similar to those of T. constricta.
Egg sac paired, oblong with multiple egg layers. Diameter of single egg about 41 µm; number of eggs per sac about 22.

Espèce Triconia pararedacta - Planche 3 de figures morphologiquesIssued from : J.H. Wi, R. Böttger-Schnack & H.Y. Soh in J. Crustacean Biol., 2012, 32 (5). [p.856, Fig.9].
Female: A, P1 (anterior view, a : intercoxal sclerite); B, P2 (anterior view); C, P3 (anterior view); D, P4 (anterior view).

Rem.: For Wi & al; (2012, p.854) the species show the typical morphological characters of the conifera-subgroup: a dorsoposterior projection on the 2nd pedigerous somite and a conical process on the distal endopodal segments of P2 to P4. Among the 12 described species of the coniferasubgroup, T. pararedacta is most similar to T redacta and T. furcula, based on the size of the dorsal projections (''hump'') on the 2nd pedigerous somite, which is quite small or indistinct in these species.
Farran (1936) described 3 forms of T. conifera (forms a, b and c) of which form c is similar to the Korean T. pararedacta with regard to body proportions and the size of the dorsal projection on the 2nd pedigerous somite. Heron & Bradford-Grieve (1995) synonymized Farran's conifera form c with T. redacta, however, some morphological features, such as the form of the pleural area of the 4th pedigerous somite figured by Farran, appear to be more similat to T. pararedacta.
