Male (from Algiers Bay): habitus (dorsal); A1 antennula; A2, antenna; T: transparent points-like on cephalic and thoracic teguments. Nota: Front of forhead with 3 thick points and body, except the urosome, with very numerous minute spines giving an granulose aspect. Md tiny, stylet-like. Mx1 rudimentary, process-like with any setae. Mx2 rudimentary, atrophied. P5 represented by only 1 plumose seta on the 5th thoracic segment very short., at the base of the seta is fouunded a vestigial second seta like a short spine. Urosome 4-segmented, the 2nd and 3rd urosomal segments equal and very short, segment anal about equal to the two preceding together .

Issued from : M. Rose in Bull. Soc. Zool. Fr., 1943, 68. [p.151]. Male: Ur, urosome (dorsal); Mxp2, maxillipède posterior (= Mxp); P1 to P4, swimming legs. Nota: Mxp 4-segmented, 1st segment large, trapezoid, 2nd segment long and swollen at base with a long spine in the middle on the inner edge and below a group of little spines; 3rd segment short and naked, bearing the 4th claw-like very long and curved, ending by a little rounded hook,; this segment is swollen at base with laterally 2 spiniform setae, symmetrically located. Caudal rami 3 times longer than wide, each with 6 plumose setae.
