Right exopodal segment 1 with sharp spine on the first third of the segment, with small projection on opposite side; internal segment covered with almost parallel wavy lines. Left endopodite reaching the distal end of the 1st exopodal segment, 2nd exopodal segment with spine-like projection on external distal border, 3rd exopodal segment proximal angle extending into a spine.

Female: 48, last thoracic segment and genital seggment, showing spermatophore (lateral); 56, genital segment (ventral). Nota: The genital segment has the hook-like appendage at the right of the orifice, but in addition there is a spine on the right side of the segment about midway between the anterior and posterior borders; there is a 2nd and much shorter spine at the left orifice.; the segment carries a group of heavy spines on the left side at the posterior border, and usually the 2nd segment is similar in that regard.
