Nota: The head and posterior margins of the are roundedlast thoracic segment. Rostral filaments slender and delicate and borne on a prominence beak-like eminence which is set in an identation in the front . Cephalothorax about 4 times as long as the abdomen and furca. The last abdominal segment is the longest, genital segment is next, then the 2nd, 3rd and 4th in order. The non-grasping A1 is 25-segmented (5.4 mm long); the portion of the grasping A1 proximal to the geniculation is 17-segmented. Coloration: transparent and unpigmented.

Female (from S California): 11, forehead (lateral); 20, abdomen (lateral); 26, 2nd, 3rd and furca (dorsal). Nota : Body greatly flattened, with rounded head and posterior margins of the thorax. Rostral filaments unusually long and delicate, and recurved. Cephalothorax four and one-third times as long as the abdomen (including the furca), and nearly 4 times as long as the greatest breadth. In the abdomen the genital segment is longer than the other two segments with the furca. Genital segment about 5 times as long as the 2nd segment and the latter is somewhat shorter than the third. A1 not quite so long as the cephalothorax. The inner ramus of A2 about twice as long as the outer and extends back half way to the posterior edge of the cephalothorax ; the larger plumose bristles are iridescent. Cephalothorax length = 4.3 mm. Body coloration transparent, except the digestive tract filled with light yellowish material.
