Isias uncipes  Bayly, 1964   (F,M)
Syn.: Isias uniceps : Pillai P., 1975 a (p. 325, Table 1)
Ref.:
Bayly, 1964 b (p.239, figs.F,M); Greenwood, 1977 (p.64); 1982 (p.220); Bradford-Grieve,1999 b (p.145, figs.F,M, figs.181, 192)
Espèce Isias uncipes - Planche 1 de figures morphologiquesissued from : I.A.E. Bayly in Aust. J. Mar. Freshw. Res., 1964, 15. [p.241, Fig.1].
Female (from Brisbane River estuary): A, P2; B, P1; C, P4; D, P5; E, right ventro-lateral aspect of urosome segments 1-3; F, ventral aspect of urosome; G, A2.

Nota: A1 24-segmented, reaching about half-way along urosome.
- Exopodite of A2 distinctly 7-segmented.
- Urosome 3-segmented.
- Genital segment about as long as segments 2 and 3 combined, produced posteriorly into broad tongue-like flap, twisted to right, extending 0.7 times distance from anterior to posterior edge of segment 2 and overlying much of its ventral surface; posterior margins of segments 2 and 3 smooth.
- Caudal rami about 3.5 times as long as wide.

Espèce Isias uncipes - Planche 2 de figures morphologiquesissued from : I.A.E. Bayly in Aust. J. Mar. Freshw. Res., 1964, 15. [p.242, Fig.2].
Male: A, anterior aspect of P5; B, C, posterior aspect of right (R) and left (L) P5; D, dorsal aspect of segments 17-21 of right A1; E, dorsal aspect of urosome.

Nota: Urosome segments 2-4 with a row of irregular spines along posterior margin.
- Caudal rami about 3.5 times as long as wide.
- Right A1 21-segmented (hinged between segments 18 and 19, segments 17-21 armed with rows of small teeth).
- P5 left and right basipod 1 segments fused. The right basipod 2 produced at the inner distal corner into a huge recurved hook which is curved outwards. A vestigial endopod in the form of a small unsegmented structure with a proximally pointing hook is present at base of exopod. Right exopod 2-segmented; segment 1 about 3 times as long as wide and with a1 single spine near outer distal corner; segment 2 of complex shape, its long axis inclined at an angle of 30° to that of segment 1 and apparently attached to the inner distal corner of the segment 1 half-way along its outer edge, distal half of segment with 2 outer spines and 2 terminal spines of unequal size, larger terminal spine serrated along outer edge. Left basipod 2 with a long styliform process arising from inner anterior proximal corner. Left exopod 2-segmented; segment 1 with 1 single spine at outer distal corner; segment 2 bent back on to inner edge of segment 1, with 6 spines, 4 on outer edge, 1 subterminal and 1 posterior face just short of distal extremity, distal outer spine much stouter than the remaining, subterminal claw-like spine has a sharp angular bend, posterior spine has a right-angle bend. A vestigial left endopod present near inner junction of exopod and basipod 2 on its anterior face; it is constricted or segmented about half-way along its length, with its distal half forming a small subspherical knob.
