Female: b, habitus (dorsal), b', idem (lateral right side).
Dorsal and lateral pattern of integumental organs (black point = sites occuring at 100% frequency, o = 80-99% frequency, x = 10-79% frequency, triangle are sites which are also visible in lateral view but which are assigned to dorsal sets);

Espèce Subeucalanus dentatus - Planche 2 de figures morphologiquesissued from : A. Fleminger in Fishery Bull. natn. Ocean. Atmos. Adm., 1973, 71 (4). [p.968, Fig.1, k (p.969)]. As Eucalanus dentatus.

Female (09°11'S, 115°33'E): j, forehead (lateral right side).

Espèce Subeucalanus dentatus - Planche 4 de figures morphologiquesissued frm : A. Scott in Siboga-Expedition, 1909, XIX a. [Plate II, Figs.1-8].
Female (from Indo-Malaysia): 1, habitus (dorsal); 2, forehead (lateral); 3, A2; 4, Md; 5, Mx1; 6, Mxp; 7, P1; 8, P4.
Nota: Cephalic spine, strong and well defined. A1 23-segmented. The mandible palp of Md with 2 inner setae on the 2nd segment of the basipodite, the 1st segment of the endopodite without seta, the 2nd segment with 4 apical setae; the exopodite apparently without segmentation, with 6 setae on the distal end.

Espèce Subeucalanus dentatus - Planche 5 de figures morphologiquesissued from : Mulyadi in Published by Res. Center Biol., Indonesia Inst. Sci. Bogor, 2004. [p.111, Fig.62].
Female (from Indonesian Seas): a, habitus (dorsal); b, forehead (lateral); c, last thoracic segments and urosome (lateral right side); d, A2; e, Md (palp); f, P1 (exopod missing); g, P2.
Nota: Forehead anteriorly produced into spiniform process (in lateral view, spiniform process directed upward, terminating in sharp point). A1 23-segmented, extending beyond distal end of caudal rami by the last 5 segments. Thoracic segments 4 and 5 separated. Urosome 2-segmented. Caudal rmi symmetrical, 2nd seta of left ramus longest. Basis of Md armed with 3 setae (2 setae in A. Scott, 1909 description); endopod segment 1 with 1 small seta; endopod segment 2 with 4 plumose and 1 small setae; exopod 1-segmented, with 4 setae. Other appendages most resemble E. attenuatus.

Nota: Forehead anteriorly produced into short spiniform process (in lateral view, apex of spiniform process curved inward).Thoracic segments 4 and 5 separated. Md exopod with 6 setae. Other appendages except P5 as in female. P5 right leg absent, left leg uniramous 4-segmented, distal segment ending in long and slender spine.
