Female (from 41°47'S, 175°01'E): a-b, habitus (dorsal and lateral, respectively); c, genital segment (lateral, left side); d, A1; e, A2; f, Md (mandibular palp); g, Md (edge of mandibular blade); h, Mx1; i, Mx2; j, Mxp; k, P1; l, P2; m, external spine of exopodal segment 3 of P2; n, P3; o, P4; p, right P5; q, endopodal segment 2 of left P5. Nota; A1 exceeding caudal rami by 5 segments. Rostrum with 2 filaments. Mx1 1st inner lobe with 14 spines and setae. Rami of swimming leg exopods with a larger number of posterior surface glandular pores than D. palumbii Genital segment widest anteriorly (in dorsal view). Genital segment and urosomal segment 2 covered with very small spinules, and borderd posteriorly by fringe of spinules as is urosomal segment 3.

Disseta magna female: 1 - Dorsally, genital somite (Fig.6-c) relatively short, with smoothly curved lateral swellings.

Disseta magna male: 1 - Left P5 (Fig.6-h), 2nd exopodal segment without a large lateral spiniform process. 2 - Left P5 (Fig.6-k), 2nd endopodal segment with an anterodistal lobe; 3rd exopodal segment with a small terminal spine.
