Publs Zool., 1906, 3 (5). [Pl.9, Fig.20]. Female (from San Diego, California): 20, forehead (lateral). Nota: Caudal rami 6-times as long as broad and as long as the anal segment; the latter is only slightly shorter than the genital segment, and the genital segment is twice as long as the middle segment. The basal segment of A1 has 3 straight spines, of which the middle one is the shortest. P5 4-segmented, teminal segment with 3 bristles of about equal lengths; the 2nd segment has a spinulose bristle on the outer margin which reaches beyond the end of the last segment of the foot; the 3rd segment is provided with a stout spine on the outer margin. Body very translucent, no pigment.
