Among the prvious studies, type I was illustrated by Kim (1985) and Ferrari & Ueda (2005), and type II appeared in figures of Giesbrecht (1892), Wilson (1950) and Chen & Zhang (1965). Females occuring in the South Korea also have two types of endopod, but bifid endopod (type II) is found on only 1 individual. The variation of the female P5 may be intraspecific.
