Park points to in the genital segment female, the small ear-shaped processes are lacking, contrary to E. truncata; the protrusion on the left side is neither extending to the distal end of the segment nor having a hollow area.. In the P5 male , the 1st exopodal segment of the left leg is extending beyond the distal end of the right basipod by 1/2 its length, and the 3rd exopodal segment has 3 or 4 small toothlike processes on its distal end.
