The mean female size is 2.650 mm (n = 12; SD = 0.2601), and the mean male size is 2.374 mm (n = 10; SD = 0.2219). The size ratio (male : female) is 0.88 (n = 6; SD = 0.1057. | | | Rem.: | epi-mesopelagic. Sampling depth (sub-Antarct.) : 0-100 m. After Park & Ferrari (2009, p.153) this species has been collected often enough to be considered the only species of Candaciidae restricted to the subantarctic region; restricted to mesopelagic waters of the West Wind Drift (Vervoort, 1957), also called the Antarctic Circumpolar Current, which is the dominant circulation feature of the Southern Ocean. For Acha & al. (2020) this species is observed Northern offshore and shelfbreak in front of Rio de La Plata (Argentina). After Tutasi & al.
