Nota: Genital segment symmetrical, without processes. Anal segment fused with caudal rami; excavation on left side at level of anal operculum. left caudal ramus slightly wider than right. A1 reacing slightly beyond caudal rami. Two patches of fine surface hairs on anterior surface of 2nd endopod segment of legs 2-4. Ratio of length : width (at base) of each caudal ramus 3.4. variant Female (from Davies Reef lagoon, Great Barrier Reef): d, urosome (dorsal); e, idem (lateral). Nota: Caudal rami fused with anal somite, asymmetrical, that on the left slightly larger than that on the right, and with a more spatulate terminal portion; ratio of length : width (at base) of left caudal ramus 5.4, of right caudal ramus 6.0.
