| | | | | | Ref.: | | | Suarez-Morales & Escamilla, 1997 (p.539, figs.F,M); Suarez-Morales & Palomares-Garcia, 1999 (p.197, tab.1); Suarez-Morales & Escamilla, 2001 (p.1444, Rem.); Suarez-Morales, 2011 (p.10); Üstün & al., 2014 (p.1402, 1407 Table I) | issued from : E. Suarez-Morales & J.B. Escamilla in Bull. Mar. Sc., 1997, 61 (3). [p.540, Fig.1]. Female (from Laguna de Chelem, Yucatan): A-B, habitus (dorsal and lateral, respectively); C, ovigerous spines. Scales in mm. Nota: Cephalothorax almost 68 % of total body length. Oral papilla located less than 20 % of way back along ventral surface of cephalothorax. Ocelli present, pigment cups medially conjointed, well developed, intensely pigmented only in central portion, round in dorsal view. Cephalic segment with cuticular protuberances on forehead, forming intricate ridges and grooves; 2 large sensilla on lateral portions of same area. Genital complex with ovigerous spines, joined at the base, almost 14 % longer than total body length, and about 10 times longer than urosome

issued from : E. Suarez-Morales & J.B. Escamilla in Bull. Mar. Sc., 1997, 61 (3). [p.542, Fig.2]. Female: A-B, head (dorsal and ventral, respectively); C, left A1 (dorsal); D, right A1 (dorsal). Scales in mm. A1 4-segmented, less than 15 % of total body length, and 21 % as long as cephalothorax; distal antennular segment with 3 suequal branched setae aligned near outer distal end; length ratio of antennular segments 10.3:25.4:13.3:51 = 100.

issued from : E. Suarez-Morales & J.B. Escamilla in Bull. Mar. Sc., 1997, 61 (3). [p.543, Fig.3]. Female: A, urosome (dorsal); B, P5 (anterior view); C, P1; D, P2. Scales in mm. Nota: P5 unsegmented, consisting of 2 lobes; the inner (endopodal) lobe unarmed; exopodal lobe with 3 setae, the two borne on outer and distal margins suequal in length and breadth, the third seta on inner margin; all setae biserially plumose; small, rounded, unarmed protuberance present on distal outer margin of outer lobe, near insertion of outermost seta. Urosome consisting of 3 segments (5th pedigerous somite, genital double-somite and 1 free somite). Caudal rami nearly quadrate, approximately 1.2 times longer than wide, bearing 3 well developed terminal setae with almost the same length and breadth.

issued from : E. Suarez-Morales & J.B. Escamilla inBull. Mar. Sc., 1997, 61 (3). [p.544, Fig.4]. Male: A-B, habitus (dorsal and lateral, respectively); C, right A1 (ventral); D, left A1 (ventral); E, genital lappets (anterior view). Scales in mm. Nota: Cephalothorax almost 50 % of total body length. Oral papilla not prominent, located less than 20 % of way back along ventral surface of cephalothorax. Ocelli present, pigment cups conjointed medially, rounded in dorsal view as in female but poorly pigmented. A1 5-segmented, more than 30 % of total body length; length ratio of antennular segments 10:19.4:16.2:26.3:28.1 = 100. P5 absent. Caudal rami approximately 1.25 times longer than wide, bearing 4 well developed setae subequal in length and breadth.

For Suarez-Morales and Escamilla (1997, p.545) his species seems to be very closely related to C. longispinosum (Bourne, 1890). For Üstün & al. (2014, p.1402) this form belongs to Cymbasoma longispinosum species-group. | | | Dernière mise à jour : 08/10/2015 | |
