Female (from Japanese waters): 13, habitus (dorsal); 14, urosome (lateral right side); 15, A2; 16, apical spine of exopod of P2; 17, P4
Nota: Anterior segment 1.6 times as long as wide. The abdominal segments and furca in the proportional lengths 42:29:29. Genital segment about as long as wide (20:28), without ventral hook. Anal segment about as long as it is wide at the proximal (12:8). Furcal rami 5 times as long as wide (14:3).

Male: 18, habitus (dorsal); 19, urosome (lateral right side).
Nota: Wing-like expansions of 3rd thoracic segment extend posteriorly about to the middle of genital segment. The abdominal segments and furca in the proportional lengths 49:24:27. Genital segment 1.3 times as long as wide (23:18). Furcal rami about 6 times as long as it is wide at the middle of the ramus (25:4). Ventral hook of genital segment shows some individual difference.

Male (from South China Sea and Indian Ocean): 3-4, last thoracic segment and abdomen (dorsal and lateral, respectively).

Nota: Proportional lengths of the cephalothorax and abdomen 60 to 40.
4th toracic margin produced posteriorly into a very acute process on each side.
Abdominal segments and caudal rami in the proportional lengths 50 : 23 : 27 = 100.
Genital segment broadish oval, 1.3 times as long as broad. The cylindrical part short, about 1/4 the length of the posterior border of the segment (3 : 13). Ventral hook slender and long, directs downwards.
Anal segment 1.6 times as long as broad; lateral margins parallel.
Caudal rami 4.8 times as long as it is broad at the proximal.
