Remarques


After Björnberg (1963, p.90) this species is rare from the Brazilian waters, only taken off the northern coast of Brazil in warm and very saline waters.
For Khelifi-Touhami & al. (2007, p.334) the occurrence of this species in south-western Mediterranean may indicate the influence of oceanic waters advecting the modified Atlantic water to the coastal area. The presence may also reflect the tropicalisation of the Mediterranean as a consequence of the general water warming (See in Lakkis & al., 2002).
