Euaugaptilus fungiferus : Björnberg, 1973 (p.348, 385);
E. perodiosus Tanaka & Omori, 1974 (p.246, figs.F); Matsuura & al., 2010 (p.2098, Table 2, 3, fig.8);
? E. laticeps : Sewell, 1947 (p.209, figs.F, juv., Rem.); Tanaka & Omori, 1967 (p.252)
Ref.:
Sewell, 1947 (p.209, Rem.); Matthews, 1972 (p.33, 39, 60); Boxshall, 1985 (p.306, figs.F,M, Rem.); Huys & Boxshall, 1991 (p.351)
Espèce Euaugaptilus placitus - Planche 1 de figures morphologiquesissued from : O. Tanaka & M. Omori in Publs Seto Mar. Biol. Lab., 1974, XXI (3/4). [p.246, Fig.25]. As Euaugaptilus perodiosus.
Female: a, forehead (lateral); b, last thoracic segment and urosome (lateral left side); c, A2; d, Md; e, Mx1; f, Mx2.
Nota: The urosome segments and furca are in the proportional lengths as 43:10:22:25 = 100.. Prosome and urosome are in the proportional lengths as 80:20. Furca nearly twice as long as wide. A1 extends beyond the end of furca by 5 segments.

Espèce Euaugaptilus placitus - Planche 2 de figures morphologiquesissued from : O. Tanaka & M. Omori in Publs Seto Mar. Biol. Lab., 1974, XXI (3/4). [p.199, Fig.2,g].
Female: g, mandibular teeth.

Espèce Euaugaptilus placitus - Planche 3 de figures morphologiquesissued from : R.B.S. Sewell in The John Murray Expedition, 1933-34, Scientific Reports, VIII (1), 1947. [p.210, Fig.55]. As Euaugaptilus laticeps. With doubt.
Female (from N Arabian Sea): A, A2; B, Md; C, Mx1; D, one of the spines on the 1st inner lobe (enlarged); E, Mx2; F, Mxp; G, P1; H, P5.
Nota: The proportional lengths of the anterior and posterior region as 80 to 20. The proportional lengths of the various segments of the body (cephalon to caudal rami) as 435:128:70:64:95:80:27:44:57 = 1000. A1 25-segmented, overreaches the caudal rami by several segments. In A2 the endopod id 1 ½ times the length of the exopod (8-segmented); the 1st endopodal segment is fringed with a band of hairs along its inner margin and there are a clump of hairs on the inner aspect of the 2nd segment. Endopod of Md with 6 short setae (7 in A. Scott from placitus). In Mx1 the exopod bears 3 large and 3 small setae (as described by Wolfenden in antarcticus); the 1st inner lobe with 7 spines and the 2nd inner lobe with 1 spine, all densely fringed in the distal half of their length with numerous small \"buttons\", closely crowded together (giving the appearance of a mosaic pavement). In Mx2 the various lobes bear 3, 2, 2, 3, 2, 3 setae, in addition on the 1st lobe there is a small rudimentary seta. In Mxp the distal long setae are armed with rows of \"buttons\". In P1 the basal segment 2 is without a seta on the outer border.

Espèce Euaugaptilus placitus - Planche 4 de figures morphologiquesissued from : A. Scott in Siboga-Expedition, 1909, XIX a. [Plate XLII, Figs.10-19]. As Augaptilus placitus.
Female (from Halmahera Sea): 10, habitus (dorsal); 11, forehead (lateral); 12, last thoracic and genital segments (left side); 13, rostrum; 14, A1; 15, A2; 16, Md; 17, part of one of the 6 setae of the exopodite of Mx1; 18, Mxp; 19, P5.

Espèce Euaugaptilus placitus - Planche 5 de figures morphologiquesissued from : R.N. Wolfenden in Die Marinen Copepoden der Deutschen Südpolar-Expedition 1901-1903, 1911. [p.336, Fig.71]. As Augaptilus fungiferus (?).
Female: a, posterior part cephalothorax and urosome (dorsal); b, Md (mandibular blade).

Espèce Euaugaptilus placitus - Planche 6 de figures morphologiquesissued from : R.N. Wolfenden in Die Marinen Copepoden der Deutschen Südpolar-Expedition 1901-1903, 1911. [Pl.XXXVI, Fig.8]. As Augaptilus fungiferus .
Female: 8, P1.
